Dr Purnima Murali Mohan

Dr. Purnima Murali Mohan is an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NUS and was a postdoctoral researcher until 2018. Her research focuses on NGN security, AI-driven cybersecurity, and blockchain-based smart contract security. With over a decade of experience in SDN, she has published 35+ high-impact IEEE/ACM papers and developed industry-adopted solutions in next-generation network security. Formerly with Tellabs (Finland), she brings strong industry alignment and has led several industry-funded projects. She also mentors students and encourages more young women to pursue careers in cybersecurity.
